I designed these boxes to add a special touch to a primitive country laundry room. You can keep dryer sheets, scrub brushes and things of such inside. Or you can leave the lid up and display other items. I have painted these in ?barn red over black and black with a tan insert and ivory lettering. If ordering this item in another color other than black it will have black underneath the topcoat and then distressed all over and are made to look very rustic and primitive. Nice primitive accent for your laundry room home d?cor. These are designed to be a primitive looking piece with possible marking in the wood for a time worn look.
