I have painted the boxes in the colors of ivory and black with black underneath the topcoat. The top box I have added simple mustard flowers with ivory centers, middle box I have added the saying welcome to our hive. On the bottom box I have added one of my beehives with honey bees, accented with twigs, grass and ivory daisies. Edges of boxes will be lightly distressed and will have antiquing stain applies all over for a primitive look.

As will all paper mache items there may be slight imperfections on surfaces.
